In order to further strengthen the unified management of general education, improve the comprehensive quality and innovative thinking of students, the College of General Education is established, in accordance with the university’s goal of cultivating high-quality application-oriented talents, on the basis of integrating the former School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Psychological Counseling Center, Mental Health Department, and Military Theory Teaching and Research Department. At present, the college is responsible for the teaching and research of several courses including mental health education, military theory, innovation and entrepreneurship, and other optional courses, as well as the jobs such as mental health counseling, innovation and entrepreneurship education, and so on.


        The college is organized into four sub-divisional offices: the Psychological Counseling Center, Innovation and Entrepreneurship Office, Teaching and Research Office, and Comprehensive Office. Additionally, the college is equipped with three teaching and research sections dedicated to mental health, military theory, and innovation and entrepreneurship.

The college contains 11 faculty members, including 10 full-time teachers. Among the full-time teaching staff, there is one Ph.D. holder, two doctoral candidates, seven master's degree holders, four associate professors, and five lecturers.


        Guided by the strong and powerful leadership of the Party Committee of the university, the College of General Education will take moral education as its fundamental task. It strives to make due contributions to the cultivation of high-quality application-oriented talents to meet the requirements of the new era. These new talents are expected to have all-round development in morality, intelligence, physical fitness, aesthetics, and labor skills. They should possess a solid professional foundation, robust practical abilities, a business-oriented mindset, creative vigor, a spirit of commitment and practical work style.
