In order to deepen and promote comprehensive reforms in the education of new business and establish a technological support platform for the cultivation of talents in new business, President Luo Bing chaired a special meeting in the first conference room of the Hubin Convention Center on the morning of February 24. The meeting focused on the application for provincial-level engineering research centers. Dr. Tian Chuan from the Academician Studio reported on the preliminary research work and explained the requirements for application materials related to the attending units.
President Luo Bing pointed out that the establishment of provincial-level engineering research centers is an important measure for the university to implement technological empowerment for the cultivation of talents in new business and the effectiveness of teachers' teaching and education. As the university is about to undergo the qualification assessment for undergraduate teaching by the Ministry of Education, all departments should cooperate closely and deeply understand the connotation of "business as the focus, law and business integration, technical support, and humanistic penetration" proposed in the university's new business education and teaching comprehensive reform plan. The importance of applying for the construction of provincial-level engineering centers for talent cultivation and faculty development should be fully recognized, and tasks in each area should be completed according to the timeline. The Academician Studio should communicate and collaborate closely with Academician Chen Jing and his research team, accept the guidance of Academician Chen Jing in the preparation of the demonstration report and construction plan, and ensure the completeness and accuracy of relevant data and materials. Efforts should be made to obtain approval for the provincial-level engineering center, laying a solid foundation for the university's discipline construction.
