On September 9th, the enrollment education lecture was held in order to enable freshmen majoring in Exhibition Economy & Management from the School of International Education and the School of Tourism Management to further understand the connotation and industry status of the major and help them make a good preparation for their study. Wu Feng, Chairman of Xunhu International Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd., Deputy Secretary-General of the China Convention and Exhibition Economic Research Association, and Deputy Dean of the International Convention and Exhibition Industry Research Institute are invited to give a lecture. Wu made a lecture on “the future of the exhibition ”. Leaders, teachers, and freshmen of the two schools attended the lecture.
The lecture is mainly divided into four aspects: life, exhibition, university and health. In the lecture, Wu Feng elaborated the constitution and connotation of Exhibition Economy & Management, sorted out the history of the development of China’s exhibition industry, and vividly and intuitively condensed the elements of exhibition and the roles and capabilities that should be played in exhibition work through various major exhibition activities.
Finally, Han Jun, Dean of the School of International Education and the School of Tourism Management, summarized the enrollment education. He said that students should prepare for learning at the beginning of the university, quickly integrate into college life, and prepare for future study and development. 2023 freshmen listened carefully and participated actively in the interaction, and achieved good results.
This freshman Enrollment education has played an important role in guiding freshmen who have just entered the university and are still confused about their own study and development plan. Through Wu Feng’s explanation, freshmen have a further understanding of their major study and industry status quo, and can better prepare for college study and life. The School of International Education will continue to invite industry leaders and experts to conduct professional education for students, constantly strengthen students’ awareness of professional learning and deepen their understanding of the industry.
