In order to further implement the fundamental task of moral education, turn students’ apartments as places for ideological and political education as well as constantly cultivate dormitory culture, enrich the extracurricular cultural life of students, enhance the unity, cohesion and creativity of them, thus continue to promote the improvement of the learning habit and atmosphere for GZUC students, the first section “Civilized Model Dormitory” selection activity was launched from March to April 2023.
After several rounds of rigorous selection, six dormitories in the school of International Education entered into GZUC’s top 100, among which two into the GZUC’s top ten, won the first prize. Two dormitories (Jinguiyuan A532, Yuguiyuan B113) of the School of International Education won the title of five-star civilized model dormitory, three dormitories (Yuguiyuan A201, Yuguiyuan A212, Yuguiyuan B116) won the title of four-star civilized dormitory, and one dormitory (Yuguiyuan A208) won the title of three-star civilized dormitory.
Dormitory culture shows the contemporary college students’ pursuit of beauty and love for life and dormitory. The launch of civilized dormitory evaluation activities not only shows the good spiritual outlook and elegant life pursuit of our students, but also promotes the students to develop good living habits, enhances the spirit of solidarity and mutual assistance of the students as well as the collective cohesion of the dormitory, and plays a role in deepening the concept of dormitory safety and health, and promotes the creation of a safe, harmonious and civilized campus.
