On September 11, Bu Lan, Secretary of the Party Committee of Baiyun District, led a team to GZUC for an investigation, accompanied by Lyu Guofu, Secretary of the Party Committee, Luo Bing, Vice Secretary of the Party Committee and President, Zhang Yong, Wen Daqiang, and Yang Yu, Vice Presidents of GZUC and Zhao Rongwu, Member of the Standing Committee of the Baiyun District Committee and Deputy Chief of the District Government.

Bu Lan and his team first visited the construction site of the second phase and GZUC Museum, where they were briefed on the progress of work of GZUC and related units in Maijia Town. Bu Lan emphasized the need to strengthen overall planning, accelerate the construction progress of projects, and jointly create a distinctive urban landmark for Baiyun District. During the symposium, after listening to the relevant information about the second phase project of GZUC, Bu Lan outlined the next steps.

Lyu Guofu welcomed Bu Lan's visit to the university, expressing sincere gratitude for the long-term support and assistance from the Baiyun District Committee and District Government. Lyu Guofu emphasized that the construction of the second phase project is currently a crucial task for GZUC. It is necessary to refine and improve the work plan based on the actual land requirements and site selection, implement the project construction in a checklist manner according to the agreed timeline, and promote the project construction. Lyu Guofu stressed the importance of recognizing the support of the Baiyun District Committee and District Government for the development of the university and called for a close integration with Baiyun District in various aspects.

Luo Bing emphasized the need to strengthen collaboration with the Baiyun District Committee and District Government, actively establish connections, leverage the advantages of industry departments, and promptly resolve problems encountered in project construction to ensure the smooth progress of the project. Luo Bing urged seizing development opportunities, further establishing and improving cooperation mechanisms, expanding cooperation areas and space, deepening cooperation levels and quality, and promoting the deep integration between GZUC's discipline construction, talent cultivation, scientific and technological innovation, industry-education integration, and Baiyun District in terms of industries, projects, and resources, creating a new model of "university-district" cooperation for mutually beneficial development.

Bu Lan, on behalf of the District Committee and District Government, expressed gratitude for the strong support provided by GZUC to the cultural and educational undertakings, public services, as well as scientific and technological innovation and industrial services in Baiyun District since its establishment in Baiyun District. Bu Lan emphasized the need to strengthen service guarantees, overcome difficulties, ensure the completion of land acquisition and handover to the university within the set time, enhance development and coordination, fully support the construction of GZUC Museum, and strengthen industry-education collaboration, explore deep integration points, and advance win-win cooperation with GZUC.
