The 2023 Guizhou College and Secondary School Track and Field Championships were held from July 24 to 29 at Guizhou University of Finance and Economics, a university town in Gui 'an New District, with 1,255 athletes from 77 teams across the province taking part. After hard work, the 18 athletes from GZUC won 6 gold medals, 2 silver medals and 7 bronze medals, and the second place in the team total ranking of Group A. The top three points were 191 points from Guizhou University of Finance and Economics, 181.5 points from Guizhou University of Commerce and 149 points from Guizhou University of Finance and Economics.
This competition fully reflects the results achieved by the teachers and students of GZUC earnestly implementing the "2023 Sunshine Sports Program for Tens of Millions of Teachers and Students in Guizhou Province", shows the tenacious spirit of our students, and plays a positive role in improving the physical quality of students and promoting the all-round development of students' morality, intelligence, physical fitness, aesthetics and labor.
