On the afternoon of June 28th, Guizhou University of Commerce(GZUC) and Chinese Medicinal Herb Industry Association of Guizhou Province held a university-enterprise symposium and signing ceremony at the first conference room of the Hubin Convention Center. Attending the meeting were Zhang Yong, Mmember of the Party Committee and Vice President of GZUC, He Xu, Director of the Center of Practical Teaching, members of the leadership team from the School of Economics and Finance, Lang Hongping, President of Chinese Medicinal Herb Industry Association of Guizhou Province, and leaders from various enterprises.
The symposium began with Vice President Zhang Yong warmly welcoming and sincerely thanking the attendees. He introduced the basic situation of the college, including its development history, student training standards, and the evaluation of graduates by employers. He expressed the hope that through this exchange, cooperation between both parties can be strengthened in areas such as internships, employment, and resource sharing.
Next, President Lang Hongping introduced the basic situation of Chinese Medicinal Herb Industry Association of Guizhou Province. He stated that graduates from GZUC are hardworking and have strong practical abilities. The association hoped to support students from GZUC in internships and employment in areas such as financial investment, digital marketing, platform economy, and medical insurance through university-enterprise cooperation. This would contribute to the integration of production and education at GZUC.
During the exchange session, both parties had in-depth discussions on various aspects of university-enterprise cooperation, including integrating internships and employment, assigning teachers from the university to work in enterprises for training and practice, strengthening the construction of a "Double-Qualified" faculty team at the university, and arranging training for employees in the companies.
At the meeting, both parties signed a strategic cooperation agreement, and Vice President Zhang Yong presented President Lang Hongping with an appointment letter as guest professor.
