In order to implement the decisions and deployments of the Central Committee of CPC and the State Council regarding "stabilizing employment" and "ensuring employment", in conjunction with the arrangements of the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Finance, GZUC held the "Hongzhi Assistance Program" employment training class for national college graduates in 2023. The training class, organized and arranged with great care by the Student Affairs Office, started on June 2, 2023, and concluded successfully on June 18, comprising four days of classroom learning and one day of outdoor activities.
The opening ceremony was hosted by Tang Yanping from the Department of Student Affairs, and Tang Xuemei, Minister of the Department of Student Affairs, delivered a speech. Minister Tang Xuemei expressed her wishes to the students: she hoped that the participating students would cherish this training opportunity with a grateful heart towards the Party and the country, absorb the knowledge shared by the instructors, strengthen their theoretical knowledge, and focus on improving their employment abilities, aiming to find their ideal job as soon as possible.
During the four-day classroom training, the instructors taught the following courses: job search analysis and strengths identification, exploring job search direction and decision-making, job information collection and management, writing self-recommendation letters and improving written communication skills, enhancing individual interview and expression abilities, improving group interviews and leadership skills, formulating job search plans and process management, adjusting job search mindset and other courses. On the last day, led by Guizhou Jiuzhongjiu Enterprise Management Co., Ltd., all students of the training class participated in a rich and colorful outdoor activity at the Huacheng Xinglong International Conference Center in Hongfeng Lake, Qingzhen City.
After the training, the students expressed that they had learned a lot from the courses taught by the instructors and the outdoor activities led by the coaches. They felt that their abilities in job search direction, information collection, resume writing, interview skills, workplace etiquette, and teamwork had all improved to some extent. Although the four days of classroom learning and one day of outdoor activities were not long, they gained a lot from them. They were grateful to the National Lottery Public Welfare Fund and the university for giving them this learning opportunity, and they looked forward to applying what they had learned in their job search as soon as possible.
