In order to further improve the psychological education ability of teachers in GZUC, do a good job in the psychological counseling of college students, strengthen the construction of teachers' ethics, enhance the psychological adjustment ability, and cultivate good psychological quality and healthy personality, on May 29, GZUC invited Luo Danyang, positive psychology instructor certified by Tsinghua University, national second-level psychological counselor, Member of the Standing Committee of Social Psychological Training Committee of Chinese Social Psychological Association, chief expert of China Psychological Network, to give a lecture.

In the morning, with the theme of "How to Carry out Good Psychological Counseling for Students", Luo Danyang spoke to the relevant leaders in charge of the Department of Student Affairs, Deputy Secretaries of the General Party Branch of secondary schools, Directors of Department of Student Affairs, full-time and part-time counselors from each secondary school, and all staff of the Counseling Center of the School of General Education and all teachers of the Psychology Teaching and Research Office. She explained why psychological adjustment is needed, common emotional distress among college students, how to carry out psychological adjustment, etc., and taught the practice of guiding students to manage their emotions and objectively self-analyze when encountering setbacks and conflicts. The aim is to allow teachers to increase their awareness of the importance of psychological adjustment, pay attention to students' mental health guidance and education, better grasp the emotional characteristics of college students, master basic psychological adjustment methods, and provide methods for actively carrying out psychological counseling work. The teachers who participated in the lecture said that the lecture not only popularized the knowledge, but also taught the specific methods of emotional recognition and adjustment to the teachers, which had the depth and breadth of theory and strong operability, and promoted the teachers' thinking and practice on improving the ability of psychological education.
