To broaden the international perspectives of students of GZUC, on the evening of March 28, 2023, the "GZUC Students' Study Tour to Macau" sharing session, hosted by the School of International Education, was held in the Library Lecture Hall of GZUC. Over 280 students from various secondary schools, members of the School of International Education, and some teachers attended the sharing session.

During the session, five students from the School of International Education including Lin Maomao, three students from the School of Economics and Finance including Cheng Junjia, and students from the College of Tourism Management such as Li Minghang, shared their study experiences, cultural highlights of Macau, historical background, and their study tour's impact on their academic planning. They also interacted with students present at the event, answering questions related to their study tour. The atmosphere was lively and enthusiastic.

It is reported that the study tour to Macau is organized with the support and guidance of the Guizhou-Macau Deep Cooperation Work Team, the United Front Work Department of Guizhou Provincial Committee, and Department of Education of Guizhou Province. In the first phase, more than 100 students from five universities including Guizhou University of Commerce, Tongren University, and Anshun University were selected to participate in a 14-day " Study Tour for College Students of Guizhou Province to Macau for Artificial Intelligence Course", held at the City University of Macau. The project is included in the "Thousand Talents Study Abroad Program" of China Scholarship Council. GZUC has selected 14 students from the School of International Education, School of Economics and Finance, College of Tourism Management, and Computer and Information Engineering College to participate the program.

Yan Yong, Party Secretary of the School of International Education, mentioned in his speech, "This study tour is the first one dispatched after three years of the pandemic. The university attaches great importance to it, and the School of International Education has done a lot of preparatory work for the program. We hope that students will actively sign up to participate in related activities, actively go out to see the world and broaden their horizons." After the session, students expressed that they had gained a lot from the sharing session and were looking forward to the study tour under the "Thousand Talents Study Abroad Program". They will continue to improve their own qualities in future studies and life and strive on the track of youth.
