On March 16, 2023, Big Data Development Administration of Guizhou Province approved the inclusion of the Aerospace Big Data Analysis and Application Innovation Center of Guizhou Province, which is being built by our university, in the list of Provincial-Level Big Data Innovation Center Incubation. The Innovation Center is dedicated to addressing scientific issues related to aerospace big data processing and application, supporting national and provincial economic development and social progress, as well as supporting the construction and development of relevant disciplines and majors.
Aerospace big data mainly comes from satellite remote sensing and unmanned aerial vehicle remote sensing, and involves the integration and consolidation of data from various sources. Representative application areas of aerospace big data technology include natural resource monitoring, disaster emergency response, digital twinning, etc. On June 15, 2022, GZUC introduced Chen Jing, an expert in communications and information systems in China and an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering. Under the leadership and guidance of Academician Chen Jing, the preparation and application for the Provincial-Level Big Data Innovation Center were launched. The Aerospace Big Data Analysis and Innovation Center of Guizhou Province will achieve technological breakthroughs in the convergence, intelligent processing, and comprehensive application of aerospace big data and industry big data.
The Aerospace Big Data Analysis and Application Innovation Center of Guizhou Province will rely on the team led by Academician Chen Jing, integrate the high-level research talents of GZUC and the research strength of domestic cooperating institutions, invest in advanced research and development equipment, optimize the experimental environment for research and development, and establish a leading big data innovation center led by academicians and advanced in China.
